In the classroom I have a “bank” and each student has a pocket in the bank. When students receive bucks they put them into their banks. Every Friday I set up the “store” and the class gets to count their bucks and shop. Bucks can be earned through any positive behavior. Sometimes a buck is given just for doing what is expected. A buck is always given for exceptional behaviors, such as helping others.
The entire class can get a buck for doing well in the resource classes and in the hall. Anytime another teacher gives the class a compliment they also get a buck.
